Job description

Office Assistant (Part-Time, In-Office)

Location: Bend, Oregon
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 30hrs weekly
Compensation: $22–$24/hour (based on experience)


About Us

At Almost Family, LLC, we are committed to providing compassionate, client-centered in-home care services. We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Office Assistant to support our nursing and field staff in delivering high-quality care across Central Oregon. This is a part-time, in-office role located in Bend, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Registered Nurses (RN's) by coordinating with caregivers to collect required paperwork and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate with physicians’ offices to request and follow up on updated medical orders.

  • Travel to clients’ homes as needed to deliver or collect essential forms and documentation.

  • Answer incoming calls, take messages, and provide administrative support to all admin staff.

  • Manage and organize compliance documentation for field staff.

  • Ensure timely submission and review of care logs.

  • Support general office operations and other administrative tasks as assigned.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Previous experience in a home health or medical office setting (preferred)

  • Comfortable with light fieldwork (form pick-up/drop-off) throughout Central Oregon
