Hours: 9 AM to 1 PM, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday (16 hours per week)

Job Description:

Maya Homecare is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide care for a 94-year-old woman with dementia in Ringoes, NJ. This position offers 16 hours per week, with shifts from 9 AM to 1 PM on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with bathing and personal hygiene
  • Provide medication reminders (she frequently asks if she’s taken her medication)
  • Prepare and assist with lunch
  • Offer general companionship and support
  • Ensure safety and provide mobility assistance as needed (she uses a cane)

Requirements:

  • Valid CHHA certification in the state of New Jersey
  • must be a female 
  • Experience working with elderly patients, particularly those with dementia
