HELP US BRING SKYHAWKS TO EMMETT THIS FALL
Emmett is a special place. People here know each other, show up for each other, and take pride in their community. That's exactly the kind of energy we want on our fields, courts, and gym floors this fall.
Skyhawks Sports is bringing high-energy, skill-building youth sports programs to the Treasure Valley, and we're looking for coaches and directors who love sports, love working with kids, and want to make a real impact in their community.

Our programs are designed for beginner to intermediate athletes, so our curriculum does the heavy lifting. That allows our coaches to focus on what matters most: the kids in front of them.

Whether you're helping a young athlete learn the basics for the first time or helping an older player build confidence and improve their skills, every child deserves a coach who sees them, encourages them, and makes them excited to come back each week.
This isn't just another part-time job. It's an opportunity to be the person a kid remembers from their fall season.
TWO ROLES. ONE MISSION.

COACH | $17/hr
  • You're on the field, court, or gym floor leading groups of young athletes through fun, skill-based activities.
  • You bring the energy. We provide the curriculum, equipment, training, and support.
  • You'll work directly with kids, build relationships with families, and help create an environment where every athlete feels included and excited to participate.
  • Great coaches can quickly earn additional responsibility and move into Director opportunities.

DIRECTOR | $19/hr
  • You help run the program.
  • Directors lead coaches, communicate with families, manage equipment and schedules, and make sure every session runs smoothly and safely.
  • You're the leader on the ground and one of the most important people in creating a great experience for kids and families.
  • Leadership, communication, reliability, and experience working with kids are especially valuable in this role.

FALL PROGRAMS: Our fall programming may include:
  • Multi-Sport
  • Soccer
  • Basketball
  • Flag Football
  • Volleyball
  • T-Ball / introductory sports
  • After-school sports programs
  • Weekend youth sports programs

Schedules and locations will vary based on program demand and facility availability.

TRAINING:
  • All coaches and directors must complete online training and field training before working their first program.
  • You'll receive the training information and schedule after hiring.
  • You don't need to know everything about coaching when you start. We will teach you our curriculum and give you the tools you need to succeed.
  • What we can't teach as easily is your energy, reliability, and ability to connect with kids.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Lead and energize groups of kids through age-appropriate sports activities.
  • Teach fundamental skills in a fun, encouraging environment.
  • Build genuine relationships with kids who look forward to seeing you each week.
  • Communicate warmly and confidently with parents and families.
  • Set up equipment and keep your program organized.
  • Follow Skyhawks curriculum while adapting to the needs of your group.
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for every athlete.
  • Keep energy high and make sure kids leave each session excited to come back.
  • Directors: Lead coaches, manage your program, communicate with families, and make sure the entire experience runs smoothly.

YOU'RE OUR PERSON IF...
  • You walk into a gym or field and the energy changes.
  • Kids naturally gravitate toward you.
  • You're comfortable leading a group and aren't afraid to be loud, enthusiastic, and a little goofy.
  • You can read a group of kids and adjust when something isn't working.
  • You're rock-solid reliable.
  • You genuinely love sports and enjoy passing that passion to the next generation.
  • You want a part-time job that actually means something.
  • You're competitive about personal growth and want opportunities to take on more responsibility.
  • You're someone parents can trust with their kids.

A sports background is helpful. Experience working with kids is preferred.
Energy, reliability, and a genuine love for working with kids are non-negotiable.

WHAT YOU'LL GET:
  • $17/hr for Coaches
  • $19/hr for Directors
  • +$1/hr raise opportunity for coaches and directors who consistently show up, stand out, and deliver a great experience.
  • Flexible part-time opportunities around your school, work, or other commitments.
  • Training and support from the Skyhawks team.
  • Free First Aid/CPR/AED certification, reimbursed after your first program.
  • Opportunities to move from Coach → Director.
  • Experience leading groups, communicating with families, and developing leadership skills.
  • A team that values your energy, creativity, and growth.
  • The opportunity to make a direct impact on kids and families in Emmett and the surrounding community.

FALL 2026 APPLICATION QUESTIONS:
  • Do you have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation?
  • What days and times are you available during the fall?
