Job description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Location: Laurel School District 
Schedule: Part-Time | In-Person
School Year: 2026-2027

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join the Laurel School District for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellentopportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students' academic,social, emotional, and behavioral success within a collaborative schoolenvironment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
  • Interpret assessment data and prepare detailed reports
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and related service providers
  • Provide consultation and recommendations to support student achievement and well-being
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations

Qualifications

  • Active Delaware State School Psychologist certification/licensure required
  • Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Previous school-based experience highly preferred
  • Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
