Job description

Tutoring Club is seeking a dependable, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic High School Math Tutor to join our team. We’re hiring part-time tutors to work with students in a supportive, fun environment—no lesson planning or parent meetings required. The ideal candidate enjoys working with teenagers, can explain challenging concepts in multiple ways, and is committed to helping students build both their skills and confidence.


Subjects may include:

  • Pre-Algebra
  • Algebra I and II
  • Geometry
  • Precalculus
  • Advanced high school math, based on experience


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and educate students in a non-classroom setting
  • Implement lesson plans at varying academic levels
  • Track student success and session notes
  • Provide constructive feedback for students
  • Focus on teaching - we handle everything else! 


Required availability:

  • Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday mornings, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 60 completed college credit hours is required and will be verified
  • Strong knowledge of high school mathematics
  • Ability to clearly explain concepts and adapt instruction to different learning styles
  • Dependable, punctual, patient, and encouraging
  • Comfortable working with students individually and in small groups
  • Spanish-speaking candidates are a plus
  • Previous tutoring, teaching, or youth-related experience is preferred


This is a part-time, in-person position. Curriculum, student materials, and training are provided.
