Job description

Dauphin Consumers Co-operative Ltd. is inviting applications for a

Meat Cutter, Part-time

In our Meat Department at the Food Centre

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Provide customer service and sales assistance
  • Ensure meat preparation complies with CFIA guidelines and Co-op standards 
  • Ensure displays are always filled
  • Responsible for the receiving, inspecting, and storage of inventory 
  • Adhere to all sanitation and personal hygiene policies of the Co-op and government legislation 
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications: 

  • 1-3 years of previous meat preparation experience

  • Demonstrated ability of working in a team environment

  • Provide excellent customer service 

  • Mature and reliable

  • Excellent communication skills and project a positive image

  • Must be punctual and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
