Job description

Our hunting lodge is seeking a Breakfast Cook/Housekeeper. This position can be one person doing both roles, or can be divided into two part-time positions. The right person would need to be dependable, efficient, able to work independently, and comfortable with the pace and expectations of a lodge setting, including early mornings for cooking. Hours for this position depend on the number of guests and the season. This is a 12-month position.


Duties would include:


Breakfast preparation

Make coffee and set up supplies

Table and utensil setup

Buffet set up and customer-specific food preparation

Kitchen cleaning

Wipe all counter surfaces with sanitizer

Cupboard doors, handles, etc.

Clean grill and other cooking surfaces

Sweep floors

Mop floors


Room cleaning

Launder bedding and bath towels

Remake beds

Clean and stock bathrooms

Dust, disinfect, and vacuum guest rooms
