About the Opportunity

The College of Social Sciences and Humanities and its nine tenure units are the home of the Experiential Liberal Arts. Through its research, teaching, and engagement missions, the college collaborates across the university, the Northeastern network, and partners around the globe.

Responsibilities:

The Department of English in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities seeks applications for part-time writing instructors. Lecturers teach required writing courses that include First-Year Writing, as well as a variety of Advanced Writing courses that focus on disciplinary writing practices, including specialized courses in technical writing, business writing, writing for the health professions, and interdisciplinary writing. First-Year and Advanced Writing courses are also available in sections for multilingual writers. Positions available throughout the year contingent upon enrollment and department need.

Qualifications:

M.A. in English or equivalent required.
