Position Summary

The HR Coordinator (Benefits & Compliance) supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department with a primary focus on benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and HRIS management. This role ensures accurate employee data management within ADP Workforce Now, assists with payroll coordination, and helps maintain compliance with federal, state, and company policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion.


Key ResponsibilitiesBenefits Administration
  • Assist with employee benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits-related questions
  • Coordinate with benefits providers and support open enrollment processes
  • Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure timely updates in HRIS
  • OSHA Compliance
Compliance & HR Administration
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Maintain and audit employee records (I-9s, personnel files, certifications)
  • Assist with internal audits and compliance reporting
  • Support implementation and adherence to company policies and procedures
HRIS & Payroll Support
  • Maintain and update employee data within ADP Workforce Now
  • Assist with payroll processing, including timekeeping and data verification
  • Generate HR reports and support data analysis as needed
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and support system improvements
Onboarding & Employee Support
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Prepare new hire documentation and ensure completion of required forms
  • Provide HR support to employees and respond to general inquiries
  • Assist with training coordination and employee communications

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of HR experience, with exposure to benefits and compliance
  • Experience using ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
