The Graduate Programs & Executive Education department at the David Eccles School of Business is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the execution of email, text, and digital marketing campaigns for Graduate Programs and Executive Education. This role focuses on marketing communications, campaign coordination, data management, operational support, and basic website content updates using WordPress.
Your primary responsibilities will include content creation, event scheduling, data entry, and providing general support to the team's day-to-day activities. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in a marketing environment and contribute to our team's efforts.
This role also supports maintaining website content by making basic updates, formatting edits, and ensuring accuracy across program pages.
Responsibilities
Website Support (Basic)
  • Update and maintain website content using WordPress (text edits, links, basic formatting)
  • Review pages for outdated or inconsistent content and flag larger issues
  • Add and update events on website calendars
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across program pages

Other Responsibilities
  • Assist with drafting, building, scheduling, and QA of email, text message, and social media campaigns across multiple audiences.
  • Coordinate and schedule marketing communications and recruiting events across email, text, web, and calendar platforms, ensuring alignment between campaign messaging and website content
  • Enter, update, and maintain lead data in Salesforce to support campaign execution, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Help prepare materials for events, such as printed collateral, signage, and more.
  • Monitor email and social media campaign performance, providing reports as needed.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones and covering the front desk when necessary.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support the overall marketing strategy.
