General Description
SUNY Niagara has a need for a part time instructor to teach Nursing content of Psychiatric and Endocrine in a day section of the Associate Degree Nursing Program on Tuesday and Thursday for 2 hours. Part time instructors will also be responsible completing mandatory New York State compliance trainings. This class is face-to-face on SUNY Niagara's main campus located in Sanborn, New York. Applicants must be able to attend in-person meetings, professional development, and other obligations on the Sanborn campus.
Remuneration for this position is: $960 per lecture hour

Essential Functions
Ability to navigate relationships with diverse populations. Ability to speak in front of groups of people. Ability to actively involve and engage students in their own learning. Must be able to effectively communicate with students, co-workers, supervisors and the campus and external community. Must be able to develop, prepare, and present information. Must able to operate computers. Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or BSN and actively enrolled in a Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Current NYS License as a Registered Nurse

Desirable Qualifications
  • Any teaching experience, but preferably experience teaching in a college, particularly in a community college.
  • Psych and Endocrine experience
