What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activities according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or potential hazards.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help control access, assist with visitor direction, and support a professional environment for patients and staff.
  • Assist with de-escalation support, emergency department standby needs, and/or other healthcare-related security-related duties as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Hospital morgue experience is required.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
