Security personnel are also responsible for de-escalating conflicts, assisting with patient or visitor issues, and reporting any suspicious activities. These roles require good communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and often involve working evening, night, or weekend shifts. Many hospitals provide on-the-job training and may require background checks or specific certifications.
