West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center is a full-service veterinary hospital and 24/7 emergency center providing high-quality medical, surgical, and emergency veterinary care for companion animals in the Huntington, NY area.
We are known for our compassionate client service, collaborative team culture, and advanced patient care in a fast-paced, professional environment.
We are hiring a Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our front desk team.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in veterinary reception, medical front desk, or customer service, who thrives in a busy animal hospital or emergency setting.
As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience while supporting our veterinarians and technicians through scheduling, communication, and administrative coordination.
Must be available for evenings, weekends, and some holidays
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
  • Greet clients and pets with warmth and professionalism (in person and over the phone)
  • Schedule appointments and manage a high-volume veterinary calendar
  • Answer multi-line phones and handle client inquiries efficiently
  • Check patients in and out, ensuring accurate documentation
  • Process payments, invoices, and medical records
  • Communicate clearly with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
