Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at a nursing home facility. As the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff, the receptionist plays a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment while performing essential administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet residents, family members, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and respectful manner.

  • Answer and route phone calls promptly and professionally.

  • Monitor and control visitor access in accordance with facility policies.

  • Maintain accurate visitor logs and assist with sign-in/sign-out procedures.

  • Provide basic information about the facility to families and visitors.

  • Assist with clerical duties such as filing, faxing, photocopying, and data entry.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.

  • Support administrative staff and nursing staff with documentation and communication needs.

  • Respond calmly and appropriately in emergency or high-pressure situations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare or senior care setting.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
