Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), medication administration systems, and home health documentation tools is common in this role. What are some common challenges faced by part-time hospice RNs, and how can they effectively manage them?

Part-time hospice RNs often face challenges such as managing a fluctuating patient load, coordinating care across multiple shifts, and maintaining strong communication with the interdisciplinary team despite limited hours.
