Job description

The Orlando Health Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Urologist and Urology Hospitalist to join a team of skilled and committed Urology Professionals. Orlando Health Medical Group Urology has a dedicated team of 20 Urologist comprised of General Urologist, UroHospitalist, Reconstructive Urologist, Oncology Urologist, and Pelvic Floor Urologist. Our award-winning team was recently recognized by the U.S. News & World Report as High Performing in Urology.

Available Locations for Outpatient Urology:

  • Orlando Health St. Cloud

  • Orlando Health Horizon West

Practice Highlights for Outpatient Urology:

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday with a mix of 2-3 days of OR or ASC and 2-3 days of clinic for a five-day work week.

  • Call: minimum of 5 days a month for one hospital location with the opportunity to pick up additional call.

  • Established Urology practice, work as an integral part of a large collaborative Urology group.

  • Advanced practice provider support for both inpatient and outpatient.

  • EHR - EPIC

  • Adult Urology only.

  • Thriving physician-led, professionally managed healthcare system.

Practice Highlights for UroHospitalist:

  • Available Locations:

    • Orlando Health - Orlando Regional Medical Center

    • Orlando Health - Sebastian River Hospital

    • Orlando Health - Melbourne Hospital

  • Flexible Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off; 7 am - 5 pm Monday - Thursday, with 24-hour shifts Friday - Sunday. Full-time, Part-time and pool positions available.

  • Schedule Pool: Work as needed for either 12- or 24-hour shifts for inpatient consults, procedures and surgeries.

  • Ability to pick up shifts in our Orlando Health surrounding hospitals.

  • Responsible for providing inpatient urology consultants, procedures and surgeries.

  • Urology hospitalist program established in 2016, providing coverage in 5 hospitals and integrated with over 20 office-based urologists.

  • APP support

  • Adult Urology only.

  • Thriving physician-led, professionally managed healthcare system.

  • Dynamic administration that fosters physician autonomy when it comes to clinical decision-making and patient outcomes.

  • Robust clinical and operational resources in a collaborative work environment.

Role Requirements:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology or the AOA

  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited training program in Urology

  • For outpatient Urology - Robotics experienced preferred. Orlando Health has 23 DaVinci (Xi).

  • FL Medical License or ability to obtain one.

  • Eligible for H1-B sponsorship
