Role: Onsite Concierge - Part-Time Weekends
Location: Longboat Key, FL
Community: Sage Residencies
Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour (depending upon education and experience)
Job Type: Part Time Weekend
Typical Schedule: Saturday 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM, Sunday 8:00 AM- 8:00 PM; must be available on all holidays

Role Summary
The Onsite Weekend Concierge is responsible for providing professional, courteous, and attentive services to residents and guests while helping to maintain the security, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the community. The concierge serves as a primary point of contact during weekend hours and is expected to monitor the property, assist residents, coordinate vendor access, and promptly communicate any concerns to management.
Responsibilities
Resident and Guest Services
  • Provide friendly, professional, and responsive services to residents and guests
  • Monitor and respond to community phone calls, text messages, and emails in a timely matter
  • Assist residents with general questions and requests
  • Set up pool and beach chairs for residents and guests and ensure seating areas are maintained
  • Provide clean towels and water to residents
  • Accept packages delivered to the community on behalf of residents

Package Handling and Delivery
  • Properly identify and organize packages to ensure they are delivered correctly
  • Ensure packages are handled securely and with care
  • Notify residents of their delivery and deliver packages to units when appropriate

Vendor and Contractor Access
  • Check in with vendors and service providers and verify before providing access
  • Ensure vendors follow community access and security procedures
  • Notify management of any concerns or unusual activity.

Property Security and Monitoring
  • Monitor security cameras and remain alert for unusual, suspicious, or unauthorized activity
  • Ensure all units, common areas, access points, and the property are properly secured
  • Follow all established community security and emergency procedures

Property Inspections and Work Orders
  • Conduct routine patrols of the property and observe the condition of common areas, landscaping, pool areas, beach areas, building exteriors, and other community property.
  • Identify maintenance concerns, damages, safety hazards, or other issues requiring attention and notify management and maintenance
  • Document and communicate important observations, incidents, or residents concerns

Turtle Season Responsibilities: May through October
  • During Turtle Season, ensure the community follows applicable beach and sea turtle protection requirements
  • Conduct regular checks of the beach area
  • Ensure the beach is clear of chairs, umbrellas, furniture, personal items, and other obstructions as required
  • Follow all community procedures and applicable requirements regarding sea turtle protection

Additional Responsibilties
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling resident information
  • Communicate effectively with residents, guests, vendors, management, and staff
  • Maintain accurate records and provide clear shift-to-shift communications regarding outstanding issues
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and immediately contact management and/or emergency services when necessary
  • Monitor community entrance gates and assist with gate-related activity as needed

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely.
  • Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks.
  • Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, outdoors).
  • Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on-call, and overtime as required.
