ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promptly answering the telephone in a warm and inviting manner;
  • Operating a multi-line telephone system, transferring calls to appropriate sales representatives or departments;
  • Responding to emails promptly;
  • Welcoming on-site customers, determining the nature of business, and announcing visitors to appropriate personnel when necessary;
  • Performing various clerical and administrative duties;
  • Communicating with inquirers and visitors in a professional, friendly and effective manner;
  • Acquiring basic knowledge about the dealership in order to be able to respond to inquiries for general information;
  • Maintaining the reception area in a tidy and presentable manner;
  • Assisting in the administration and coordination of dealer trades when necessary;
  • Stocking in vehicles when necessary;
  • Licensing new and used vehicles when necessary;
  • Distributing mail and coordinating all courier pickup when necessary

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Professional phone manner;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills;
  • Professional business appearance;
  • Previous dealership experience is an asset
