idwest Eye Care is looking for a Patient Registrar at our Surgery Center located at 4353 Dodge Street
Part-time, 20 hours per week, 2 days per week
Varies Monday - Thursday (7:30am - 4:30pm) NO WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS or On Call
In this role YOU will:
  • Greet and provide direction for patients and their families.
  • Check in patients upon arrival for surgery.
  • Monitor and ensure patient wait times.
  • Prepare medical records for patient surgeries.
  • Coordinate communication between Midwest Eye Care and MESC.
  • Compile monthly reports.
  • Assist physician with procedures and review discharge instructions with patients.

Outstanding candidates will have:
  • Commitment to an excellent patient experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma/GED
  • Current or ability to obtain valid Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire.

Offered Candidates will need to do the following before first day:
  • Successfully complete a background check which includes an education verification, a motor vehicle record check, and a credit check.
  • Successfully complete drug testing.
