The WELL on the campus of the Sacramento State campus is seeking to hire two Health Coaches. The Health Coach partners with individuals in a collaborative, client-centered process to support healthy lifestyle behaviors. Health coaches help clients increase self-awareness, identify strengths, and set realistic goals related to physical activity, stress management, nutrition habits, and overall well-being.

The Health Coach does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, provide nutrition or exercise prescriptions, or perform therapy. Instead, the role is focused on motivational interviewing, behavior-change strategies, and accountability support to empower clients to take ownership of their health.
