Receptionist: Part Time Day Shift Hours / Monday - Friday

1000 Schuylkill Manor Rd, Pottsville, PA 17901

Schuylkill Center is currently hiring a Receptionist for Full Time. We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic candidates to join our exceptional team!

Requirements of the Receptionist:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED

  • Ability to type and use general office equipment is required. Proper telephone etiquette and ability to operate multi-line telephone system

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Must be knowledgeable of computer systems (Microsoft Office, Word and Excel), system applications, and other office equipment

  • Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.

  • Operate multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and to direct callers to 
    appropriate personnel

  • Provide directions and information to visitors, guests, residents, sales representatives, etc

  • Greet visitors and direct to appropriate office and/or resident room

  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and maintain route publications

  • Monitor visitor access and sign-in process.

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Administrative staff.

  • Must adhere to all HIPAA requirements.

  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

  • Supports Business Office Manager with tasks including, but not limited to, accounts payable, residents funds, filing, etc.
