Job description

PrideStaff is currently hiring for a PART-TIME Guard Shack Attendent position at a lumber yard in Gulfport MS.


This position is designed as a "supplemental income" position for anyone retired and/or can only work part-time hours. This position is NOT designed for a main source of income.


HOURS - Rotating Weekly:

  • Thursday & Friday 7am - 5pm, Saturday 7am - 12/Noon, OFF Sunday
  • Monday - Wednesday 7am - 5pm, OFF Thursday - Sunday


Hourly Pay Rate: $10/hr.


Job duties are but are not limited to:

  • Customer point-of-contact in an AC'd guard shack
  • Greeting customers who have paid inside that are picking up lumber/building materials from the outside yard
  • Counting material to confirm it matches what is on customer invoice
  • Counting material on company delivery trucks to confirm the customer invoice
  • Writing up customer returns & verifying material returned as needed
  • Breaking down cardboard boxes as needed
