This position offers a dynamic and challenging work environment, providing the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through diligent oversight and customer-focused service.
Key Result Areas:
Verify and document all vehicle arrivals and departures, ensuring adherence to proper procedures.
Conduct security checks and inspection of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
Assist drivers with parking, loading, and unloading instructions, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
Maintain accurate logs of all transactions related to vehicle movements and delivery schedules.
Enforce safety, security, and privacy protocols to safeguard clients' shipments and facility integrity.
Communicate effectively with drivers, team members, and management regarding vehicle status and operational issues.
Respond promptly to any security or safety concerns, escalating incidents when necessary.
Support the overall efficiency of the cross-dock operations by facilitating smooth vehicle flow and minimizing delays.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in security, logistics, or warehousing preferred.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety policies.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Basic computer skills for logging and data entry.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical duties for extended periods.
