To thrive as a Part-Time Greenhouse Gas Analyst, you need a solid understanding of environmental science, data analysis, and greenhouse gas accounting, often supported by a relevant degree or coursework. Familiarity with emissions inventory software, carbon accounting tools, and databases such as GHG Protocol or ISO 14064 is typically required. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and clear communication skills help you interpret data and convey findings to stakeholders. These competencies are essential for accurately tracking emissions and supporting organizational sustainability goals.
