Position Summary
The Backstage Attendant supports performers, touring crews, and production staff at Texas Trust Theatre by ensuring backstage areas are organized, stocked, and operating smoothly. This role plays a key part in delivering a high-quality experience by assisting with hospitality, maintaining cleanliness, and responding quickly to artist and crew needs during events.
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00.

This position will remain open until July 31, 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain backstage areas, including dressing rooms, green rooms, and production spaces.
  • Ensure dressing rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with requested hospitality items (food, beverages, supplies).
  • Assist with receiving and organizing catering deliveries for artists and crew.
  • Provide support to touring staff and performers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor backstage access to ensure only authorized personnel are present.
  • Assist with load-in and load-out support as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of backstage areas throughout the event.
  • Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and beverages.
  • Assist with basic kitchen and food preparation tasks during downtime as needed.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and venue policies.
  • Communicate effectively with event managers, production teams, and other staff.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in hospitality, events, or backstage/production support preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to interact with high-profile guests and performers.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
