Job description

The Graphics Technician produces and designs eye-catching and engaging point-of-sale products for beverage products. They are responsible for design and production, working in an onsite print shop.

General Beverage Sales Co. (GB) is a business-to-business wholesale distributor of wine, distilled spirits, beer, soda, bottled water and non-alcoholic beverages. Established in 1933, GB has been family-owned ever since. We currently operate in all of Wisconsin's 72 counties as consultants to over 11,000 licensed retail business customers helping them to profitably select, promote, merchandise, and sell consumer products in the beverage category. Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Impeccable attention to detail, creating attractive point of sale and other sales materials that meet brand and quality standards
  • Strong time management skills to meet production deadlines and ensure materials are ready for transfer and delivery time windows
  • Robust organizational ability to prioritize demands in a high paced environment, and keep print shop in good working order
  • Self-motivated, results-driven and committed to best-in-class service
  • Acts with honesty and transparency and treats others with respect, dignity and fairness
  • Contributes to inclusive culture by building rapport, being open to different perspectives, and fostering a welcoming environment for all
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Prior print production experience
  • Proficient in graphic design software: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Manage electronic files including proper set up, naming conventions, saving, and archiving.
  • Create signage for requests submitted adhering to established production quality and brand standards.
  • Update and revise existing designs to meet need.
  • Prepare signage for delivery, cutting and laminating as needed and package appropriately.
  • Deliver completed signs to appropriate people.
  • Communicate regularly with sales consultants.
  • Order print shop materials as needed.
  • Manage print shop budget if assigned.

Schedule:
Part-time working Tuesday - Thursdays. No weekends!
Compensation:
Starting wage $18.00/hour
