Overview

Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of North Carolina, is looking for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Raleigh, NC. Join a compassionate group who provide a team approach to patient care. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience in our office individualized and meaningful.

About the Practice:

The practice team has 10 physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, and 1 certified nurse midwife along with an excellent support staff. The practice has been serving women in the Raleigh Metro Area for over 40 years with a very strong patient base. Deliveries and GYN surgeries are done at the University of North Carolina Rex Hospital in Raleigh that is a world class facility with everything that is required to provide excellent women's health care. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an established practice in a growing city with a great hospital system. This position is ideal for a physician who wants to focus their career on Labor & Delivery.

Practice and Position Highlights:

  • Flexible Nocturnist/Hospitalist position for someone who wants to work 7-12 shifts per month. Shifts are typically 14 hours.
  • Looking for someone who can do 2 days of seeing patients in clinic but the practice can be flexible on these hours.
  • Established practice group with a solid patient base that has been built up for over 40 years.
  • Only required to see practice patients and hospital employed physicians will triage and see unassigned patients.
  • Hospitalist will likely perform about 10-25 deliveries per month depending on the number of shifts worked.
  • Supportive hospital with a long-standing relationship with the practice that provides subspecialty and hospitalist support, the da Vinci robotic system, and a high-level NICU.
  • Competitive salary or hourly rate depending on whether working full-time or part-time hours.
