About the Position:


This part-time, seasonal position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Kitchen. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have a background in the hospitality industry, possess attention to detail, care about cleanliness, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

About the Club:


Considered one of the premier Country Clubs in Florida, Grey Oaks opened in 1993 and encompasses the Grey Oaks and Estuary communities, along with 54 holes of championship golf. The Club's facilities include a 63,000-square-foot east clubhouse, 12,000-square-foot golf pro shop, golf performance center, 30,000- square-foot wellness center, sports center, and the pool cafe, a 22,000-square-foot complex with indoor and outdoor dining overlooking an expansive resort-style pool with a wading entrance, waterfall, and lap lanes. Additionally, The Estuary offers a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse with indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the golf course, as well as a golf pro shop and his-and-her locker and card rooms.

Requirements

Responsibilities:


Cleans, sanitizes and properly stocks all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.

Maintains cleanliness of entire kitchen including dry storage and walk-in cooler, sweeping & mopping.

Empties the kitchen trash receptacles and properly disposes of garbage.

Performs daily cleaning includes dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods and exhaust system.

Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Cleans, washes and sanitizes all dishes, cleans kitchen after closing.

Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly and ensures that we provide a safe workplace for our team.

Performs other duties as required.


Qualifications:


Willingness and desire to be an exceptional dishwasher.

Ability to work as a team in proximity with co-workers.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience desired.

Ability to understand English is a plus.ย 

State Food Handlers certification a plus.ย 

Regular and reliable attendance required.

Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. ย 


Education/Experience:


High School/GED equivalent or experience in the hospitality or related field a plus.
