Job description

Hourly Rate: $15.30 

Works under the general direction of the Golf Facility Manager to provide customer service for patrons of the City of Memphis golf courses. Conducts retail sales transactions for golf greens fees, cart fees and golf shop merchandise. Picks up trash, set up driving ranges, and washes the golf carts. Cleans the clubhouse, golf shop, snack bar, and outside grounds.

High school diploma/equivalent with one year of experience in a related field.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:


Performs additional functions (essential or otherwise) which may be assigned.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Requires the use of general office equipment such as computers and telephones and to conduct financial transactions with customers. Maybe required to lift items up to 50lbs, operate push mowers and handheld leaf blowers.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: 

Majority of work is performed both indoors and outdoors.
