Job description

The Golf Groundskeeper assists the Golf Player Development Complex Superintendent with general maintenance and upkeep of the UTC Golf Player Development Complex. The focus is to maintain the greens, fairways, and driving range up to the same quality of the courses where the UTC golf teams compete during intercollegiate competition.

Minimum: Requires a high school diploma and six months of relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A valid driver's license is required.

Preferred: Specialized experience in golf groundskeeping is preferred. 

  • Mowing greens, fairways, and driving range
  • Edging, weed eating, and general hand work
  • Retrieving balls from the driving range and cleaning for re-use
  • General maintenance on the facility and equipment

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • General knowledge of landscape maintenance 
  • Skills to operate equipment to fulfill tasks required to keep the Golf PDC in top shape
  • Must have the ability to follow instructions and guidance from the Superintendent

This is a part-time 75% FTE position.
