Job Description Summary
The Department of Social Sciences invites applicants for a part-time Geography adjunct teaching position. These are semester-to-semester positions primarily teaching introductory courses, both in-person and online.
The Social Sciences department prepares students for careers in multiple areas that focus on human interaction. Majors, Minors, and GEP courses in the Social Sciences enable students to better understand their place in the world by connecting personal experience to past and present features of society. The Social Sciences offers major fields of study in Sociology, Political Science, History, and Psychology, and Minors in Economics and Anthropology, and general education courses in Geography. The Department values open-ended inquiry, critical dialogue, and a commitment to respect for diversity in all aspects.
