GENERAL MANAGER
The General Manager oversees all aspects of studio functionality, including sales, team management, marketing, client experience, and studio operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive lead generation through grassroots marketing, networking, and community outreach
  • Implement the sales process to schedule prospects into introductory classes
  • Drive membership and retail sales
  • Manage studio staff schedules
  • Directly coordinate with vendors and ensure retail/products are stocked and accurately inventoried
  • Supervise and coach Sales Representatives
  • Hire, manage, and support instructors at the studio
  • Monitor studio performance using management software, POS systems, revenue reports, attendance reports, and other key metrics
  • Review instructor evaluations and provide feedback
  • Independently make decisions related to high-level customer service
  • Collect outstanding dues
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio
  • Enforce studio policies and procedures
  • Ensure forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature are stocked and visible
  • Schedule and participate in networking, community events, and studio promotions
  • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads and grow the studio
  • Identify areas of opportunity and implement strategies to improve studio performance
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience preferred
  • Previous management or supervisory experience required
  • Confident generating personal sales and training/coaching Sales Representatives
  • Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams, including memberships and retail
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-changing and diverse environment
  • Solution-based and results-oriented with a competitive spirit

SALES REPRESENTATIVE
The Sales Representative assists the General Manager with new membership sales, lead generation, follow-up, client retention, and exceptional customer service.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is outgoing, goal-oriented, loves interacting with people, and wants to grow within the boutique fitness industry.
Boutique fitness or sales experience is preferred, but not required
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute the sales process from lead generation and follow-up through closing
  • Conduct studio tours while establishing relationships and understanding individual goals
  • Present memberships, services, and retail to current and prospective members
  • Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales goals
  • Follow up and follow through with prospective clients
  • Assist with member retention and creating an exceptional client experience
  • Participate in community events, health fairs, networking events, and studio promotions
  • Build relationships within the local community to grow the Pure Barre client base
  • Process accurate cash and credit card transactions
  • Input and maintain retail inventory
  • Take photos and assist with social media content
  • Assist with light cleaning of the retail area, studio, and restrooms
  • Attend and complete all required training programs
  • Learn and use ClubReady and other studio software

FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
As a Pure Barre Fitness Instructor, you will lead up to 20 participants through a high-energy 50-minute Pure Barre experience while creating an empowering, motivating, and welcoming environment for every client.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Teach a minimum of 3 classes per week
  • Be available for a combination of early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Plan and prepare diligently before each class
  • Study and learn choreography prior to teaching
  • Learn and implement full choreography changes on a quarterly basis
  • Create a welcoming, motivating, and high-energy environment
  • Build strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service
  • Assist with keeping the studio clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Demonstrate exercises including lifting hand weights and full-body pushups
  • Participate in required internal and ongoing instructor training

REQUIREMENTS

  • Background in dance, fitness, cheerleading, barre, or a similar discipline is ideal but not required
  • Ability to lift hand weights and demonstrate full-body exercises
  • All instructors must complete a 4-day training at a Pure Barre corporate training center, along with significant at-home study and preparation, before becoming certified
  • Minimum one-year commitment to teaching is required before attending the 4-day training
