This Opportunity:

On a part-time basis, assist local construction services team with the following tasks:

  • Monitor construction activities on transportation, civil, and municipal infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.

  • Document daily field and inspection activities, including material sampling, testing, and quantity measurements.

  • Assist with preconstruction meetings, progress updates, and conflict resolution sessions; prepare and negotiate construction change orders.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and SEH team members.

  • May assist in development of proposals, estimating project budgets and schedules and completing constructability reviews

  • This opportunity is open to candidates residing in the following areas: Rochester, MN


Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Previous experience in the construction field.

  • OSHA-10 certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

  • Possession of applicable DOT technical certifications or ability to obtain within six (6) months.

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and navigate rough terrain on construction sites.

  • Willingness to travel for team meetings, client consultations, and on-site observations.

  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation.

  • Familiarity with BlueBeam software.

This position requires an MVR records check verifying that you possess a valid driver's license and a driving record which meets the requirements of SEH's Driving Program.
