Job description

Does this sound like you?

You enjoy working with people and building real connections. You're energized by meeting new customers and creating positive experiences they remember.

You're driven, confident, and motivated by goals. You like to win, grow, and keep moving forward.

You have a natural sense of style and creativity. You don't need to take big risks to make an impact-you know how to make smart, tasteful decisions that work.

You appreciate well-designed spaces and enjoy helping others improve their homes or properties. You can easily imagine ideas for décor, layout, and upgrades that increase both appeal and value.

If this sounds like you, you'll fit in well here.

We're looking for a team member who can help build our culture while excelling in sales. This is a showroom-based role focused on connecting with customers, building relationships, and closing sales. You'll also work closely with property owners to help improve their spaces and increase bookings.

Role Summary

This role is focused on people and results. Success comes from building trust, understanding customer needs, and guiding them toward the right solutions.

You'll spend your time:

  • Engaging customers in the showroom
  • Building relationships with property owners and clients
  • Driving sales through strong communication and follow-up
  • Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

You should be confident, adaptable, and comfortable taking initiative while working closely with others to hit shared goals.

Requirements
  • Professional, reliable, and consistent work ethic
  • Clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Must live locally or have a confirmed relocation plan
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
  • Able to work evenings/weekends as needed (if applicable)

(Note: We are unable to accommodate unstable housing situations or lack of reliable transportation due to the nature of the role and location.)

Benefits & Perks
  • Full-time benefits (health and vacation)
  • Seasonal flexibility (lighter time off in off-peak periods)
  • Ongoing training, education, and certifications
  • Profit-sharing retirement program
  • Strong, team-focused culture with long-term growth opportunities

About Us

We are a family-owned business serving the Seaside area for over 20 years and the region's longest-standing vacation home property management company.

We focus on quality over quantity-selecting homes based on location, condition, layout, and amenities to ensure consistent guest experience and long-term value. We partner with homeowners who share high standards so every property performs well and every guest stay meets expectations.

VROPCO Drug Screen Disclaimer - Oregon Applicants

At VROPCO, we are committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and productive workplace. As part of our employment process, all final candidates may be required to undergo a drug screening conducted in house onsite at our main location.

Please read the following carefully:

  1. Compliance with Oregon Law:
VROPCO complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the Oregon Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing laws (ORS 659A.300-659A.330). We ensure all drug screening is conducted in a fair, respectful, and confidential manner.

  2. Marijuana Use:
While recreational and medical marijuana use is legal in Oregon, marijuana remains a Schedule I controlled substance under federal law. For safety-sensitive positions or those governed by federal regulations, a positive test for THC may disqualify an applicant, regardless of state legality.

  3. Medical Conditions and Accommodations:
If you are taking any prescribed medications or have a medical condition that may affect your drug screening, please notify the Medical Review Officer (MRO) during the review process. Reasonable accommodations will be considered in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Oregon disability laws.

  4. Consent and Confidentiality:
Drug screening will not be conducted without your written consent. All results are kept strictly confidential and will only be shared with authorized personnel involved in the hiring process.

  5. Right to Retest and Appeal:
In accordance with Oregon law, if you test positive, you have the right to request a retest of your original sample at your own expense. Instructions for requesting a retest or appealing results will be provided with your lab report.

  6. Non-Discrimination:
VROPCO does not discriminate against applicants on the basis of lawful off-duty conduct, medical conditions, or disability status, consistent with applicable laws.

By continuing with the hiring process, you acknowledge and understand that a conditional offer of employment may be contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screen, and that refusal to test may result in withdrawal of the employment offer.

If you have any questions about our drug screening policy or your rights under Oregon law, please contact Human Resources at hr@vropco.com.
