We are currently seeking a Part-time Warehouse Associate to join our team in Franklin, MA.
Schedule: This is a part-time afternoon/evening position with flexible scheduling based on availability. Potential schedules include a few 8-hour shifts per week from 12:00 PM-8:00 PM or 4-5 days per week from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM. This position will primarily support evening truck loading.
Your Role at Batesville:
As a Part-time Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the safe handling of shipments, proper care and handling of inventory, and following safe practices and standard work procedures.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform thorough inspection of each unit to ensure quality.
  • Unload inbound caskets quickly, accurately, safely, and damage free.
  • Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Perform various warehouse duties as requested.
  • Operate various powered equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Bring:
  • 1-year prior warehouse or related experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to drive a truck within facility confines and learn how to spot trailers.
  • Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met.
  • Ability to lift and/or move miscellaneous equipment and product weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally.

Nice to Haves:
  • Forklift experience is preferred.
  • Ability to perform and interpret computer and RF functions.
  • Ability to learn new skills at a fast pace.
