Front Desk Attendant and Department Support (Part-Time)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective
The Part-Time Front Desk Attendant and Department Support serves as the first point of contact for the office, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and organized environment for visitors, employees, and vendors. This role supports daily office operations through administrative coordination, front desk management, and general office support.

This person should have one of the following skillsets:

  • Data entry: Provide data entry support with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Marketing: Assist with basic marketing tasks such as content updates, organization, or coordination
  • Payables/Receivables: Support accounting functions including accounts payable or accounts receivable processing

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment. This position also provides an opportunity to contribute to additional business functions such as data entry, marketing support, or accounts payable/receivable, depending on experience and skillset.

Front Desk & Office Coordination
• Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience
• Manage office foot traffic and direct guests appropriately
• Provide light phone coverage and route calls as needed

Administrative & Office Support
• Sort and distribute incoming mail and coordinate outgoing shipments
• Assist with ordering and maintaining office supplies, snacks, and beverages
• Coordinate food orders for meetings and office events as needed
• Support general administrative tasks across departments

Departmental Support (Based on Skillset)
• Data entry: Provide data entry support with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
