Part-time 5th Grade Math amp; Science Teaching Position
Resurrection School, Lansing
Resurrection School in Lansing, Michigan is accepting applications for a part-time 5th Grade Math amp; Science teaching position for the fall of 2026. Ideal applicants would have course work or personal study in the Catholic Liberal Arts or at least have a desire to learn and integrate this approach into their classroom instruction and philosophy. Applicants should have a valid State of Michigan teaching certificate or an ability to complete a teacher credentialing program. Prior teaching experience is also preferred. Participation in the VIRTUS child protection program will also be required of the successful applicant.
All teachers within the Diocese are ministers of the Church. Therefore, all applicants must be practicing Catholics who are passionate about providing authentic faith formation for their students. Ideal applicants will need to show a sincere love for children, a diligent approach to planning and organizing lessons, a proficient level of classroom management, a commitment to joyful collegiality, an ability to communicate effectively with parents, and a strong foundation in all facets of the curriculum.
