Position Description: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Doctor ( MD ) or Doctor of Osteopathy ( DO ) for our Skilled Nursing Facility ( SNF ) in Syracuse, NY, to serve as attending physician for our resident population. This is a full-time, in-person position. Part-time arrangements available for the right candidate.

Qualifications of the Medical Doctor ( MD ) or Doctor of Osteopathy ( DO ):


  • Valid Medical Doctor ( MD ) or Doctor of Osteopathy ( DO ) license in the state of New York

  • Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred

  • Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility ( SNF ) or post-acute setting preferred

Responsibilities of the Medical Doctor ( MD ) or Doctor of Osteopathy ( DO ):


  • Serve as attending physician for assigned facility residents

  • Conduct admission examinations and review medical records

  • Manage chronic conditions, medications, and transitional care

  • Coordinate with nursing staff, family, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Stay current with clinical practice guidelines and quality measures
