GENERAL PURPOSE
Performs a variety of administrative and semi-skilled tasks in the operation and maintenance of the After School Program.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Works under the direct supervisions of a Recreation Specialist who oversees the ASAP program
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
May direct some activities of ASAP program aides
*20 Hours Max
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Will lead 5-14 year olds in recreation setting, manage behavior problems, assist with activities and enforce policies and procedures.
Assistance with Game room and Special Events may be necessary during peak times.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Course work in Elementary Education, first aid and CPR certificates desirable. Work experience with 5-14-year-olds in a recreational setting a plus.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Be able to obtain CDL license within 90 days.
*Once CDL is obtained hourly rate is $20.90 hour

Part-Time & Temporary Employees are eligible to become members of the Deer Park Credit Union and are covered by Unemployment Insurance and Workers Compensation Insurance.
