Description: Ellington Public Schools Food Service Department is seeking applicants for a part time Food Service Worker/Cashier at Crystal Lake School The position is 3.5 hours a day, rate of pay: $17.74/hr. This is a 10-month position following the school calendar.
Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to serving lunch, operating kitchen equipment, using a computer cash register, portioning lunch items, accepting deliveries, daily production record keeping, and cleaning. While performing the duties of this position, applicants must be able to stand, walk, and move items weighing 40 pounds as needed. Successful applicants must be able to take direction and work independently. Candidate must be willing to travel between schools if required.
