What is a part time flu clinic RN?

Part Time Flu Clinic RNs are registered nurses who work on a part-time basis at clinics that provide influenza (flu) vaccinations. Their main responsibilities include administering flu shots, monitoring patients for adverse reactions, providing education about the vaccine, and maintaining accurate medical records. These roles are often seasonal, peaking during flu season, and may involve working at community clinics, pharmacies, workplaces, or mobile vaccination sites. Part Time Flu Clinic RNs play a crucial part in public health efforts to reduce the spread of influenza.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time flu clinic RN, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Flu Clinic RN, you need a current registered nursing license, strong knowledge of immunization protocols, and experience in patient assessment. Familiarity with vaccine storage requirements, electronic health records (EHRs), and vaccination documentation systems is important. Excellent communication skills, efficiency, and the ability to work independently help nurses excel in fast-paced, seasonal clinic environments. These competencies ensure safe, accurate vaccine administration and positive patient experiences during high-demand periods.

What are some common challenges faced by part time flu clinic RNs, and how can they be managed?

Part-time flu clinic RNs often face challenges such as managing high patient volumes during peak vaccination periods and adapting quickly to changing schedules or locations. It is important to stay organized and communicate effectively with both patients and the clinic team to ensure smooth workflow. Additionally, keeping up-to-date with the latest vaccination guidelines and practicing efficient patient education can help maintain high safety and satisfaction standards. Collaborating closely with other nurses and support staff also ensures that the clinic runs efficiently, even during busy times.

Trade burnout for balance — stay clinical, stay connected.

Part-Time · Every Saturday · ~8 hrs/week

About Restore Hyper Wellness
Restore is the nation's leading retail provider of alternative health and wellness therapies — IV therapy, IM injections, cryotherapy, infrared sauna, skin health, and more, all under one roof. We've seen sustained growth in our member base and demand for medical services, and we're building the team to match.
At Restore Eugene, we're redefining what it means to work in healthcare. No call lights, no hospital chaos — just wellness, balance, and feel-good energy. Our mission is to help people do more of what they love.
About the Role
If you're an RN who still loves caring for people but is ready to trade burnout for balance, this may be your fit. As a Wellness RN, you'll deliver IV therapy, IM injections, and other restorative services in a client-centered, clinical setting.
On busy days, this role moves fast but is not chaotic. You'll be managing multiple clients simultaneously, supporting walk-ins, and keeping clinic flow smooth — all while delivering a consistently excellent experience. The pace varies, and we want someone who thrives in a dynamic environment rather than expects a quiet one. The slow days are a genuine reward — but the ideal candidate brings the same professionalism and energy either way.
We're looking for a dependable, self-driven RN who excels at multitasking, communicates effectively, and works collaboratively with both clients and team members. The ideal candidate prioritizes client safety and experience equally — pairing strong clinical skills and sound judgment with warmth, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. You are proactive, adaptable, efficient, and committed to delivering a consistently outstanding experience for every client.
You'll be comfortable accommodating walk-in clients and helping ensure smooth clinic flow throughout the day. You take ownership of your role, seek opportunities to educate clients, contribute to a positive team culture, and help drive the success of our medical department through both clinical excellence and genuine client engagement.
An understanding of the relationship between exceptional client care and business growth is important. We value nurses who are comfortable identifying opportunities to educate clients on services that may support their health goals and promote client retention — always maintaining an ethical, client-centered approach.

What You’ll Do
  • Promote and consult with clients on the qualities and benefits of our IV Drips and Intramuscular Injection ingredients and our Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapies.
  • Document client visits via EMR.
  • Work with our Lead RN to ensure nursing coverage seven days a week.
  • Administer IV drips, IM injections, and mild hyperbaric sessions with skill and confidence.
  • Educate and guide clients through their wellness experiences.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and serene treatment environment.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate care.
  • Collaborate with a team that values positivity, balance, and growth.
Must Haves
  • Current, unencumbered Oregon RN License
  • Two years experience as a nurse in an acute care setting
  • Excellent IV skills and at least one year of administering injections
  • BLS certified
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Strong multi-tasking ability
  • Flexibility to work weekends
  • Willingness to help cover team PTO requests when available
  • A positive attitude and genuine interest in wellness
What’s In It For You
  • Salary ($41 - $43 per hour base salary plus free services)
  • Supportive environment with set structure— no nights, no call, no hospital chaos
  • Flexible part-time schedule — Work 4 shifts a month
  • Wellness perks — free Restore services like cryotherapy, IV drips, and red light therapy (valued at up to $300 per month) and employee pricing on esthetician and medical therapies
  • Collaborative, upbeat culture that actually practices self-care
  • A chance to love a different side of nursing and healthcare, via the wellness sector.
Perfect For
  • Nurses seeking to step away from traditional hospital burnout
  • RNs passionate about holistic, preventative, and regenerative wellness
  • Professionals looking for flexibility, fulfillment, and a calm and positive workplace
