To thrive as a Part Time Flu Clinic RN, you need a current registered nursing license, strong knowledge of immunization protocols, and experience in patient assessment. Familiarity with vaccine storage requirements, electronic health records (EHRs), and vaccination documentation systems is important. Excellent communication skills, efficiency, and the ability to work independently help nurses excel in fast-paced, seasonal clinic environments. These competencies ensure safe, accurate vaccine administration and positive patient experiences during high-demand periods.

Part-time flu clinic RNs often face challenges such as managing high patient volumes during peak vaccination periods and adapting quickly to changing schedules or locations. It is important to stay organized and communicate effectively with both patients and the clinic team to ensure smooth workflow. Additionally, keeping up-to-date with the latest vaccination guidelines and practicing efficient patient education can help maintain high safety and satisfaction standards. Collaborating closely with other nurses and support staff also ensures that the clinic runs efficiently, even during busy times.

Job description

Registered Nurse RN – Occupational Health Clinic Events | Part-Time Contract | Nights

We’re hiring an experienced Registered Nurse RN for a long-term, part-time contract supporting occupational health and employee wellness clinic events in the Philadelphia, PA 19114 area. This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys a focused clinic environment, employee health, event-based care and a predictable part-time schedule with evening/overnight hours.

This assignment is ideal for an RN with occupational health, employee health, flu clinic, COVID clinic, vaccine clinic, wellness event or onsite clinic experience who can work independently, stay organized and provide a professional experience for adult employee patients.

Assignment Details

Contract dates: May 25, 2026 through November 29, 2026
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
Hours: 10:00 PM–4:30 AM
Meal break: 30 minutes
Estimated paid hours: 18 hours per week
Contract length: Approximately 28 weeks
Setting: Onsite employee health / occupational health clinic
EMR: Epic
Pay: Weekly pay available
Benefits: Benefits available for eligible contractors
Opportunity: Possible extension and/or future permanent opportunity

What You’ll Do

In this role, the RN will support special clinic events and occupational health activities for an adult employee population. Duties may include:

  • Supporting flu, COVID, vaccine, wellness and employee health clinic events

  • Performing occupational health screenings and clinic workflows

  • Administering immunizations and documenting care accurately

  • Reviewing health history, contraindications, consents and post-vaccine guidance

  • Monitoring patients for adverse reactions when applicable

  • Maintaining safe infection prevention and clinical standards

  • Using Epic for documentation and clinic-related charting

  • Communicating professionally with clinic team members and onsite contacts

  • Flexing as needed based on event volume, clinic flow and business need

What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out

It is a focused onsite occupational health clinic assignment with a stable three-day weekly schedule, long-term contract dates, and meaningful interaction with working adults. The evening/overnight hours may be a strong fit for RNs seeking part-time contract income, a non-bedside environment and occupational health experience.

Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania

  • Active BLS through the American Heart Association

  • Occupational health experience required

  • Prior flu clinic, vaccine clinic, employee health, urgent care, primary care, wellness event or onsite clinic experience preferred
