Job description

Part-Time Child Care Floater (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM)

Rich Beginnings Child Care Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Afternoon Child Care Floater to join our team. This position works Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, providing support throughout the center as needed. Days can be flexible.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in classrooms serving children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
  • Supervise and engage children in safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
  • Support afternoon routines, including snack, outdoor play, and dismissal.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children while following OCFS regulations and center policies.
  • Provide coverage for staff breaks and assist wherever needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be reliable, patient, and enjoy working with young children.
