What You'll Do

  • Deliver dynamic, hands-on instruction in aircraft maintenance that bridges theory and practice.
  • Create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment where students are empowered to succeed.
  • Collaborate with fellow instructors and academic leaders to continuously improve our FAA-aligned curriculum.
  • Keep the lab organized, safe, and stocked with properly maintained tools and equipment.
  • Manage key administrative dutiesthink grading, attendance tracking, and regulatory compliancewith precision and professionalism.
  • Mentor students, track progress, and proactively address retention issues.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and instructor evaluations.
  • Support our mission by attending faculty meetings, leading training sessions, and completing education modules.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic Certificate
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong grasp of contemporary aircraft systems and repair practices
  • Effective communication skills with a student-first mindset
  • Organized, tech-savvy, and ready to adapt in a compliance-driven environment
  • Flexibility to work outside scheduled hours as needed

Preferred:

  • Associate degree in a related field
  • Experience with CampusNexus or similar student management systems
