THE ROLE : Heat Press Operator/Production Associate - Collegiate Jersey Customization - Ohio State University - OSU
Sets up heat press for production, runs, and produces customized collegiate jerseys.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Obtain work order & design from teams
  • Layout design as instructed by work order
  • Prioritize work orders and sales orders
  • Manage blank inventory including supplies and component pieces
  • Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
  • Check for rejected prints
  • Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Minimum 1 year heat press operating experience preferred
  • Must be able to read and interpret work orders.
  • Must be familiar with all the machines required to perform the tasks stated above.
  • Must be able to perform basic set-ups on heat press and be proficient using tools that are used in them.
  • Must be willing to accept & receive regular supervision & assistance with regard to machine set-up.
  • Must be able to communicate in person to provide information.
  • Lock-out / Tag-Out
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility.
  • Handling and Moving Objects - Using hands and arms in handling
