Part-Time Human Resources Temporary
GCSAA is seeking an enthusiastic, organized administrative professional for a long-term assignment (6-9 months) to support the Human Resources team. Ideal candidate will have an interest in the human resources field and will provide excellent customer service to GCSAA’s over 90 internal team members.
Position will prepare recruitment and onboarding materials, schedule interviews, perform screenings, answer team member questions via in-person and email regarding various benefits, workplace issues, performance management process, etc. Will assist with digital filing, FMLA documentation, internal staff recognition programs and various projects.
Qualified candidate will possess:
  • Professional interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information appropriately and exercise discretion, sensitivity, tact and respect for sensitive situations at all times
  • Excellent customer service abilities with strong follow-up skills
  • Ability to keep accurate, orderly files and records; excellent proofreading skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and juggle varied tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Prior administrative experience working in a professional office environment; previous HR duties desired
  • Associate degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or related field highly desired, but not required
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) essential; HRIS a plus
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20-25 hours per week for this 6-9 month assignment -- schedule is flexible
  • Hourly rate commensurate with experience: $17.00 - $19.00/hour
  • Must live within a commutable distance to work from our headquarters office in Lawrence, KS
