Job description

Who doesn’t love doughnuts? TDP Bakery exists to bring fresh indulgent bakery products to places where people could normally never enjoy them. Fresh, never frozen, bakery is just better. Through our BakeFace™ brand private-label partnerships, we supply a broad portfolio of Honestly Fresh™ baked goods to retailers nationwide. 

We are looking for an organized, self-motivated Administrative Assistant to support bakery operations in a fast-paced environment. This role provides administrative support, front-door coverage, invoice preparation, filing and copying, employee and visitor communication, and general support for the General Manager, Office Manager, and Supervisors. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, the ability to follow instructions, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email. This is a part-time position with up to 30 hours a week. Schedule expectations are Thursday through Sunday starting at 7:00am. Pay starts from $17.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Print invoices and assemble related documents.
  • Align packing slips with invoices upon receipt.
  • Maintain an organized filing system, including general filing and making copies as needed.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, including answering inquiries, redirecting calls, and taking accurate messages.
  • Reply to email and in-person inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Manage the front door, provide general support to in-house visitors, and report employee needs appropriately.
  • Support the General Manager and Office Manager with recruiting and staffing needs as necessary.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail.
  • Run general reports regularly.
  • Support the General Manager, Office Manager, and Supervisors with operational tasks.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.
  • Follow instructions accurately and work independently while staying organized and self-motivated.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative role.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
  • Fluent English proficiency, both spoken and written.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Superior time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced, evolving business environments.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum high school diploma required.
  • Administrative and customer service experience preferred.
