Position Summary:

Part-Time

Open shifts: 

Week 1: Fri & Sat: 3p-11:30p
Week 2: Thursday: 3p-11:30p
 

Compensation: $13.60/hr + - Increases with relevant, verifiable experience 

The individual in this position is competent to perform all tasks at the receptionist desks which include operating the telephone system, greeting residents, visitors and staff; processing and routing deliveries and US mail. Also, must be prepared at all times to handle any type of emergency or disaster.

Job Duties:

  • Answer phones and transfer calls appropriately.
  • Processes and routes appropriately all requests for maintenance, grounds staff or administrator (on campus or on-call). 
  • Maintains knowledge of all disaster procedures and equipment. Implements Fire and Disaster Call List when necessary. Performs tasks in accordance with specific emergency procedures.
  • Maintains knowledge of medical concern or emergency procedures and equipment. Performs tasks in accordance with specific procedures.
  • Perform tasks and able to access files on the computer using Microsoft Office Suite, Resident Photos and Employee Directory and uses shortcuts to message pre-determined groups.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Bethany Campus and able to give directions to the various areas.
  • Maintains knowledge of “walk-in” procedures for Marketing and Admissions and determines the materials and information to exchange.
  • Monitors security cameras and door access at secure entrances.
  • Maintains keys and key log.
  • Maintains updates and communicates accurate resident information in both electronic and manual formats.
  • Sorts and delivers USPS mail and packages. Able to meter mail.
  • Maintains knowledge of all safety and security procedures and policies. Performs tasks in accordance with the specific procedures. 

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:   General knowledge of office operations. High level of interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Experience: Experience with older adults and/or people with dementia preferred. The ability to pass a drug test, including testing for marijuana.
