Essential Job Duties
At University Housing, we're dedicated to creating safe, comfortable spaces that our residents are proud to call home. Our Facilities team plays a key role in that mission-responding to work orders, managing daily operations, and partnering with others across campus to keep things running smoothly.
We're looking for a Housing Facilities Specialist who's ready to take the lead on coordinating small projects and improving day-to-day operations. In this role, you'll work closely with campus partners, contractors, and our in-house team to plan and carry out a variety of facilities projects-from the first conversation to the final inspection.
You'll be responsible for planning, communication, scheduling, oversight, and follow-through on both recurring processes and short-term projects that make a real difference in the residential experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate small-scale facilities projects with contractors and campus partners
  • Create and implement day-to-day operations and maintenance processes
  • Manage communication, scheduling, and execution of facilities work
  • Conduct inspections to ensure quality and completion
  • Oversee project closeout, documentation, and follow-up
  • Serve as a point of contact between residents, staff, and project stakeholders
